Summary:
The Maintenace Assistant provides a variety of standard and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repairs of center grounds and facility.
Maintenance Assistant
Responsibilities:
Works closely with and follows direction of director/supervisor.
Maintains building and grounds in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
Maintains and repairs basic functions of center as determined by the Maintenance Director.
Takes care of tools and equipment.
Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lights, fire alarms and extinquishers, changes filters on HVAC equipment, carries, lifts and stock supplies.
Remains on call when assigined for 24/hrs a day.
Assumes supervisor's responsibilties in his/her absensce.
Ensures that customers/families recieve the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Performs other duties as assigned Requirements for Maintenance Assisant:
Prior experince in LTC prefered (not required) High school Diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and capentry Benefits for Maintenance Assistant:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
