We are currently looking for a Production Line Lead for our Winder, GA plant that will be able to fill the overnight shift.
Job Duties of the Production Line Lead:
Performs the duties of a machine operator and/or assembler.
Plans for and maintains use of resources including materials, utilities, labor, and equipment minimizing waste and maximizing capacity wherever and whenever possible for the production line.
Oversees and ensures adherence of processes and procedures involving production, quality, and safety.
Responsible for the daily set-up and clean-up of the line.
Communicates actively with Supervisor and assists Supervisor with reporting.
Follows oral and written instructions- including policies, BOMs, SOPs, and other procedures.
Accurately documents and records necessary production information.
Trains new hires and provides leadership, direction, and coaching to direct reports.
Requirements for the Production Line Lead Role:
Can stand and concentrate for long periods of time Can reach within hands and arms length Bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently for long periods of time Can lift up to 50 lbs Can withstand manufacturing working conditions.
Education/Certifications/Skills that Production Line Leads Need:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Can read, write, and comprehend English.
Ability to successfully lead others.
Effective communication and people skills.
Ability to multi-task Experience Needed to Become a Production Line Lead:
1- 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment Job Type:
